Planting & Care
1. Planting: The Mojo Dwarf Pittosporum is easy to grow – simply select a location with well-drained soil and 4 to 8 hours of sunlight per day, along with some shade. After selecting your area, dig a hole that’s two or three times the width of your shrub’s root ball. Then, place your Mojo Pittosporum before back filling the soil and watering to settle its roots. Mulching after planting is beneficial to preserve moisture.2. Watering: Water regularly during the first growing season, about once per week or when your Dwarf Pittosporum’s surrounding soil is dry. Check for soil dryness about 2 to 3 inches down – if the soil is dry, it’s time to water. However, once the plant is established, watering frequency may be reduced.
3. Fertilizing: Apply a well-balanced fertilizer yearly in late spring.
4. Pruning: Prune your Mojo Dwarf Pittosporum annually after it blooms during spring for a tidier, neater appearance.
