Why 'Dracaena' Corn Plants?

Adaptable and totally lush, the Dracaena Massangeana Cane, also known as the Corn Plant, is known for its versatility, compact size and slow yet steady growth. It’s perfect for first-time plant owners as well as those who are away from home often. Why? Well, because it's low-maintenance and luxuriant.

For starters, unhurried growth means little need to prune. Furthermore, there is no need to second-guess the best location when growing indoors. You can place your Corn Plant practically anywhere, from a dull hallway to a spot with bright indirect light, and it will thrive.

Why Fast-Growing-Trees.com is Better

Huge, lively green leaves with yellow pops of color take center stage on Dracaena, though. And because it grows up to 5 feet in height, it's uniquely impressive. You can even combine a few Corn Plants in the same container, staggering their heights to ensure the most robust and lush appearance.

But the best part is the fact that our Corn Plants arrive from our nursery, straight to your door, healthy and ready-to-grow. You get a more developed root system and a head start for your homescape...an experience you won't get from big box or other nurseries.

Classic, one-of-a-kind beauty that's eye-catching, delivered right to your door. Order your cool and crisp Corn Plants today!

Planting & Care

1. Planting: During the winter months, the Dracaena Corn Plant enjoys bright light. As for spring and summer, it does well with indirect light and dappled shade. Just be sure to keep it away from drafty areas and excessively hot or cold areas in doors.

When you're ready to repot your Corn Plant, make sure there are adequate drain holes in the bottom of the container. And select a container for your plant that's about twice the width of your plant's root ball.

2. Watering: Water your plant lightly, keeping the soil consistently moist but not soggy. A good rule of thumb is to put your finger in the soil to check its level of moisture. There is no need to water your Corn Plant until you have a full inch of dryness starting from the top of the soil.
