Planting & Care
1. Planting: Full sun and well-drained soil are ideal for your 4-in-1 Apple Tree. Any area that receives around 6 hours of sunlight per day is perfect. Once you've found your location, dig a hole that's twice the width of the root ball and just as deep. Then, place your tree, back fill the soil and tamp down to avoid air pockets. Finally, mulch the area and water to settle the roots.
*Tip: Make sure your mulch is not touching the base of the trunk.
2. Watering: Your Apple Tree will benefit from a regular watering each week. You may need to water more often in times of extreme heat or drought. If you're not sure when to water, simply check the soil about 2 or 3 inches down. If it's dry in this area, it's time to water.
3. Pruning: Once your tree has become established and is starting to bear fruit, it will need some periodic, moderate pruning. During dormancy, remove any vigorous, upright stems and weak, damaged or dead branches.
